IIsWebDirectory.AppUnLoad (WMI)

The AppUnLoad method unloads an application that is running and optionally unloads all of its child applications.

      Recursive
)

Parameters

  • Recursive
    [in] A Boolean. A value of True causes AppUnLoad to unload the application at the specified metabase node and all child nodes.

Return Values

This method has no return values.

Remarks

All of the application resources are released and the application processes are terminated. If the application is running in-process, the application is released, if it is not being referenced by any other applications. Server component DLLs are not released from in-process applications, even if they aren't currently referenced by other applications.
