IIsWebDirectory.AppUnload (ADSI)

The AppUnLoad method unloads an application that is running.

Remarks

All of the application's resources are released and the application's process is terminated. If the application is running in-process, the application is released, if it is not being referenced by any other applications. Server component DLLs are not released from in-process applications, even if they aren't currently referenced by other applications.

Requirements

Client: Requires Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows NT Workstation 4.0.

Server: Requires Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows NT Server 4.0.
