SourceSafe Options Dialog Box, Integration Tab (Plug-in)
Specifies integration information for a SourceSafe plug-in used in the source control environment in Visual Studio.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual Studio, on the Tools menu, click Options. In the Options dialog box for source control, select Source Control, then Plug-in Settings, and click Advanced. See the "Plug-in Tabs for Source Control (Options Dialog Box)" topic in the Visual Studio Help.
- Choose SourceSafe Database
Allows you to choose between use of the default database and a prompt for database selection.
- Connection Information
Specifies the project or database connection data.
- Data specifier
Provides a connection data specifier for the named project or database.
- Diff
Specifies if Visual SourceSafe should display the dialog boxes associated with differences, for example, the Difference Options dialog box.
- Display dialog box for
Allows you to set the display of dialog boxes for history and differences.
- History
Specifies if Visual SourceSafe should display the dialog boxes associated with history, for example, the History Options dialog box.
- Name
Specifies the database name if no connection has been made. If there is a connection, this element specifies Visual Studio as the third-party program hosting the SourceSafe plug-in.
- Path
Specifies the file path for the database if no connection has been made. If there is a connection, this element specifies the file path for the SourceSafe plug-in.
- Prompt
Specifies if Visual SourceSafe should prompt the user for database selection.
- SourceSafe project
Specifies the project currently connected to source control.
- Use default
Specifies if Visual SourceSafe should use the default database.
