Always Use the Default GM Set

In the PChannel Properties Window, select the Always Use the default GM set for this instrument check box to ensure that the instrument sound in the default General MIDI DLS collection (GM.dls) is used for the PChannel. An instrument in another sound source, such as another GM collection in hardware, cannot be substituted.

This setting is ignored for instruments that are not in the GM.dls collection.
