Component File Properties

To open the Properties Window for a component file in a project, select the top-level icon for the component and press F11.

Note This Properties window contains file properties, not component properties. To view or edit component properties, select the second-level icon of the component and open the Properties window. For more information, see the topics for each component type, such as Segment Properties.

The component Properties window contains the following tabs:

  • Design tab

    Contains read-only information about the component design file.

  • Runtime tab

    Contains information on the last run-time file that was saved, if any. To change the default folder, click the button beside the Folder text box. To change the default name, edit the Name box.

    You can also change the name and default folder when you click Runtime Save As on the File menu or on the shortcut menu.
