Curve Properties

The Properties Window for a curve enables you to make adjustments to the placement of continuous controller data and its effect.

The Curve Properties window always contains the following two tabs:

  • Curve(s) Tab

Contains settings for the start and end time, the start and end MIDI controller values, curve shape, and options for flipping the curve horizontally or vertically.

  • Reset Tab

Contains settings for the default value that the curve should reset to if it is interrupted during playback. This prevents the curve from affecting notes when playback begins again, or if playback transitions to a different component.

In addition, the Curve Properties window for a curve in a pattern contains the following:

  • Variations Tab** **

Contains settings for which variations the curve applies to.

When multiple selected curves have different properties, these properties are displayed as dashed lines, except for check boxes, which are gray if some selected curves have the property selected and others do not. Any changes made in properties apply to all selected curves.
