Effect Properties

The Properties Window shown in the following figure contains settings for an effect in the Effects List column.

The window contains the following elements:

• Effect Type

  Type of the effect. This value is fixed when the effect is added.

• Edit Effect Properties

  Click this button to open a dialog box containing effect-specific settings.

• Always Process in Software

  When this check box is selected, it specifies that the standard DMO is always used, even if a similar effect is available in a hardware synthesizer.

• Instance Name

  Name of the effect as it appears in the Effects List column.

The Effect Properties window for a Send effect has additional settings for specifying the destination effect. For more information, see Send Effects.
