PChannel Name

The PChannel name is used in DirectMusic Producer to identify the channel throughout the project.

By default, the name of a PChannel is the same as its number. You can assign any descriptive name you like, such as "Flute" or "Sound Effects."

Note The name can also be changed in the Properties window for objects other than bands, such as the Wave Track Properties window. Regardless of where the property is set, it applies to the PChannel everywhere in the project.
