PChannel Number

Enter or select a new number for the PChannel. By changing the number, you are in effect deleting a PChannel from the band and adding a new one. You cannot enter or select a number that is already in the band.

Every 16th PChannel, starting with number 10, is reserved for percussion instruments. Percussion instruments are handled differently from other instruments, in that a family of instruments is assigned to a channel, and individual instruments are assigned to each pitch.
