Stop Immediate Button

The Stop Immediate button stops playback without waiting for a boundary to be reached. This button is displayed only while a component is playing. The shortcut key is ALT+< or SPACEBAR.

When multiple segments are playing, as when you play a primary segment and a secondary segment, click Stop Immediate to stop all segments. To stop playback of the primary segment only, press the CTRL key as you click the Stop Immediate button.
