To change the internal name of a component

1. Click the component's internal name in the project tree to highlight it.
2. Click the internal name a second time to place the cursor in the highlighted area.
3. Type the new name for the file, up to 15 characters long.

You can also change a component's internal name by using its Properties dialog box, available from the shortcut menu.
