To change the name of a component file

1. In the project tree, right-click the file name.
2. Choose Rename. The file name is highlighted in the project tree.
3. Type the new name for the file, up to 60 characters long, plus a three-character extension. Use the standard extension for the file type.

Note If the internal name already matches the file name without a three-character extension, changing the file name automatically changes the internal name so that it continues to match.
