The following table describes which threads the Ink object events can fire on.

| InkAdded | Fires on the ink thread, or on the caller's thread.
An InkAdded event generated by user interaction with the InkCollector object, the InkOverlay object, or the InkPicture control, fires on the ink thread. |
| InkDeleted | Fires on the ink thread, or on the caller's thread.
An InkDeleted event generated by user interaction with the InkCollector object, the InkOverlay object, or the InkPicture control, fires on the ink thread. |
