Physical Sizing Measurements

Description of physical sizing measurements.

Physical measurements (such as millimeters) are used for sizing designation. Pixel measurements are subject to LCD dots per inch (dpi) because each pixel really comprises three dots. The high-dpi LCD that Tablet PC uses renders a control significantly smaller than it would appear on a LCD for a laptop or desktop PC.
