Property Value
System.Int32
An Int32 value that indicates the maximum number of textures that can simultaneously be bound to the texture-blending stages. This property is read-only.
Remarks
This value is the number of textures that can be used in a single pass. If the same texture is used in two blending stages, it counts as two when compared to the MaxSimultaneousTextures value. In the programmable pipeline, the value indicates the number of texture/sampler registers supported by pixel shaders on this particular piece of hardware, as well as the number of texture-declaration instructions that can be present.
