WMRMRights.AllowBurnToCD

The AllowBurnToCD property specifies and retrieves a Boolean value that indicates whether the license permits content to be copied to a CD in the Red Book audio format.

This right has been deprecated and replaced by AllowPlaylistBurn.

Syntax

WMRMRights.AllowBurnToCD = Boolean
Boolean = WMRMRights.AllowBurnToCD

Parameters

This property takes no parameters.

Return Values

If the property succeeds, it returns a Boolean value indicating whether content can be written to a CD. If it fails, it returns E_FAIL, 0x80004005.

Remarks

The default value of this property is 0 (false).

The Windows Media file is no longer protected after it is copied to a CD.
