ResourceDataSet.ResourcesRow.RES_ID Property

Specifies an ordinal identifier of the resource.

Remarks

As you create or add resources to the project, Microsoft Project automatically assigns the next number in the sequence of resources that are listed. This value becomes the RES_ID.

RES_ID is not a unique identifier for the resource. It changes whenever the order of resources changes. The persistent unique identifier is the RES_UID property.
