Add(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.Database) Method

The Add method of the DatabaseCollection class adds the specified Database object to the collection.

Parameters

database   A Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.Database object.

Return Value

The Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.Database added to the collection.

Remarks

The Add method calls the proc_putDatabase stored procedure to add the Database instance to the Databases table, by populating the columns of a new record with the properties of the database argument.
