GetAlertCreationLink(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.PortalContext, System.Guid, String, String, String) Method

The GetAlertCreationLink method of the ListAlertType class creates an Alert Me link for a SharePoint list by using the specified parameters.

Parameters

context Reference to a PortalContext object that represents a portal site.

listId GUID for a SharePoint list.

listUrl URL for the list that this alert describes.

listName Display name for the SharePoint list that this alert describes.

parentWeb URL to for the site that contains the specified list.

Return Value

String that contains URL to the new alert page.
