CreateNewAlertPage(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.NewAlertObjectInfo) Method

The CreateNewAlertPage method of the ListItemAlertType class gets an AlertEditPage object that is used to create alerts of this type on the Create New Alert page in the user interface (UI).

Parameters

objectInfo    A NewAlertObjectInfo object that contains basic alert property values.

Return Value

Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.AlertEditPage that is used to create, display, and edit information for alerts of this type.

Remarks

The GetNewAlertActionInfo method is called when the new alert page in the UI is rendered. This method returns an AlertEditPage implementation for the specific alert type. The AlertEditPage object is used to create the new alert.
