PrepareAlertTitle(String) Method

The PrepareAlertTitle method of the ListitemAlertType class creates a suggested alert title by using the SharePoint list item display name.

Parameters

displayName    Display name for the SharePoint list item.

Return Value

String that contains a suggested title for the alert.

Remarks

The GetNewAlertActionInfo method calls the PrepareAlertTitle method to generate a suggested title.
