GetCanonicalUrl(String) Method

The GetCanonicalUrl method of the PortalApplication class gets the canonical form of a URL.

Parameters

url   The URL to be canonicalized.

Return Value

A string that contains a canonical URL, with the base portion of the URL replaced by an identifier that can be used with the GetMappedUrl method.
