Service(System.Guid, Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.Server) Constructor

The Service constructor initializes a new instance of the Service class based on the specified type of service or component and Server object.

Parameters

serviceClass   A GUID that identifies the type of service or component in the topology of a server farm. This GUID value appears in the ClassId column in the Services table in the configuration database.

server   The Server object on which the Service object runs.
