CreateEditAlertPage(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.Alert) Method

The CreateEditAlertPage method of the SiteRegistryAlertType class gets an AlertEditPage object that is used to edit site registry alerts on the Edit Alert page in the user interface (UI).

Parameters

alertToEdit   An Alert object that represents an alert whose properties are modified through the UI.

Return Value

A Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.AlertEditPage object that is used to create, display, and edit information for alerts of this type.

Remarks

The CreateEditAlertPage method is called when the edit alert page is rendered in the UI. It returns an AlertEditPage implementation for the site registry alert. The AlertEditPage object is used to edit and display the alert.
