ApplyTemplate(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.Alert) Method

The ApplyTemplate method of the StandardAlertTemplate class applies the current template settings to the specified Alert object.

Parameters

alert    Reference to an Alert object to which this template is applied.

Example

The following code example shows how to apply an alert template — in this case, the folder alert template — to a new Alert object.

Remarks

Changes will not be saved to the database unless you call the Commit method for this Alert object.
