The ProxyAddress property of the GlobalProperties class gets or sets the address of the proxy server to use when crawling content.

The address of the proxy server to use when crawling content.

Remarks

The GlobalProperties class has five properties related to proxy server configuration: ProxyAddress, ProxyBypassList, ProxyBypassLocal, ProxyPort, and ProxyType. The search service uses these properties as it crawls site content for inclusion in the content index.
