Add(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.WebService) Method

The Add method of the WebServiceCollection class adds the specified WebService object to the collection.

Parameters

webService   The Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.WebService to add.

Return Value

The Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Topology.WebService added to the collection.

Remarks

The Add method calls the proc_putService stored procedure to add the WebService instance to the Services table in the configuration database, by populating the columns of a new row in the table with the properties of the webService argument.
