Approve or reject a proposal (Project Server 2010)

In some cases, approvers may receive an e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook, notifying them of items that require their review and possible approval. In other cases, the approver must check for items requiring approval in Microsoft Project Web App.

  1. Choose where to begin to review an approval request.

    • If you have received an e-mail message notifying you of an item requiring your review for approval, click Edit this Task on the message in Outlook.

    • If you have not received an e-mail message, on the Quick Launch in Project Web App, in the Approvals section, click Workflow Tasks.

  2. Click the item in the list that you want to review for approval.

  3. Review the requested change, and then click Edit Item.

  4. If appropriate, add a comment about your approval or rejection of the request, and then click Approve or Reject.
