Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:
You have read the topic Manage My Site host locations.
Your system is running either the Standard or Enterprise version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Important
Administrators must have access to the Shared Services Provider (SSP) administration site.
Shared Services administrators can delete a link to a My Site host locations when the users targeted by the link no longer require access to My Sites in multiple locations. Typically, this occurs after all of the users moving between Shared Services Providers (SSPs) have been migrated entirely to a new SSP. If some users are still being migrated, the best practice is to change the membership of the audience targeted by the link instead.

Use the following procedure to delete a trusted My Site host locations link.

On the Shared Services Administration home page, in the User Profiles and My Sites section, click Trusted My Site host locations.
On the Trusted My Site Host Locations page, point to the link that you want to delete, and click Delete Item on the menu that appears.
On the confirmation message that appears, click OK.
