Manage quick deploy jobs

A quick deploy job is a special job created automatically if the publishing resources feature is enabled on the source site collection of an existing deployment path.
A quick deploy job is a way for users (typically authors or editors) to quickly deploy content.
To manage a quick deploy job, open the Manage Content Deployment Paths and Jobs page:
On the top navigation bar, click Operations.
On the Operations page, in the Content Deployment section, click Content deployment paths and jobs.

On the Manage Content Deployment Paths and Jobs page, point to the quick deploy job for which you want modify settings, click the arrow that appears, and then click Edit.
On the Content Deployment Job page, in the Name and Description section, type a name for the content deployment job in the Name box.
In the Description box, type a description for the content deployment job.
In the Path section, click the content deployment path on the Select a content deployment path menu.
In the Scope section, select one of the following:
Entire site collection Select this option if you want to include all sites in the site collection in the deployment.
Specific sites within the site collection Select this option if you want to specify sites within the site collection in the deployment. If you select this option, click Select sites to select the sites to include in the deployment.
In the Frequency section, you can clear the Run this job on the following schedule check box to run the job manually, or you can select the Run this job on the following schedule check box to specify a schedule.
In the Deployment Options section, select one of the following:
Deploy only new, changed, or deleted content Select this option to deploy content that is new or content that has been changed or deleted.
Deploy all content, including content that has been deployed before Select this option to deploy all content.
In the Notification section, if you want to receive e-mail after the content deployment job has been completed successfully, select the Send e-mail when the content deployment job succeeds check box.
If you want to receive e-mail when the content deployment job fails, select the Send e-mail if the content deployment job fails check box.
If you select either the Send e-mail when the content deployment job succeeds or the Send e-mail if the content deployment job fails check box, type an e-mail address in the Type e-mail addresses box.
Test a quick deploy job
Testing a quick deploy job tests export settings and verifies that connectivity can be established with the destination for the deployment. Testing a quick deploy job is useful for testing export settings and to ensure that authentication information is valid.
On the Manage Content Deployment Paths and Jobs page, click Test Job on the menu for the quick deploy job that you want to test.
The status of the job is reported in the Status column.
Manually start a quick deploy job
On the Manage Content Deployment Paths and Jobs page, click Run Now on the menu for the quick deploy job that you want to start.
The status of the job is reported in the Status column.
Cancel a quick deploy job
On the Manage Content Deployment Paths and Jobs page, click Cancel on the menu for the quick deploy job that you want to cancel.
The status of the job is reported in the Status column.
