Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:

Your system is running Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 with the latest service pack and updates.
Important
View Only permission in the Shared Services Administration site is required to complete this procedure.
To view search usage reports
Use this procedure to view search usage reports. You can view statistics about search queries and search results across all sites and site collections that use the same Shared Services Provider (SSP). The same information can be viewed at the site collection level by site collection administrators as part of the site collection usage report. That information can be used to improve the performance and relevance of search.
View search usage reports
On the Central Administration home page, in the Quick Launch, click the name of the SSP that hosts the search service.
On the Shared Services Administration home page, in the Search section, click Search usage reports.
