BackupRestoreBase.Checksum Property

Gets or sets a Boolean property value that determines whether a checksum value is calculated during backup or restore operations.

Property Value

A Boolean value that specifies whether the checksum value is calculated. If True, the checksum value is calculated. If False (default), the checksum value is not calculated.

Remarks

You can use the Checksum property to compute the checksum value during backup and restore operations. This helps to increase the reliability of backup media.

If the Checksum property is set to False, the ContinueAfterError property will be ignored.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
