DacDomain.Key.Inequality Operator (Object, DacDomain.Key)
Performs a Boolean inequality operation to determine whether a specified object is different than the DAC domain associated with a specified DACDomain key.
Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Dac
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Dac (in Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Dac.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Shared Operator <> ( _
obj As Object, _
rightOperand As DacDomain..::..Key _
) As Boolean
'Usage
Dim obj As Object
Dim rightOperand As DacDomain..::..Key
Dim returnValue As Boolean
returnValue = (obj <> rightOperand)
public static bool operator !=(
Object obj,
DacDomain..::..Key rightOperand
)
public:
static bool operator !=(
Object^ obj,
DacDomain..::..Key^ rightOperand
)
static let inline (<>)
obj:Object *
rightOperand:DacDomain..::..Key : bool
JScript supports the use of overloaded operators, but not the declaration of new ones.
Parameters
- obj
Type: System.Object
A Object object representing the object to compare with the DAC domain. If the object does not reference a DacDomain.Key, the method returns True.
- rightOperand
Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Dac.DacDomain.Key
A DacDomain.Key object representing the DAC domain to compare.
Return Value
Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean value specifying whether the two DAC domains are different. Returns True if the parameters reference different DAC stores, or if only one of the parameters is null. Otherwise, returns False.
