Remarks

The NumericPrecision property describes the numeric precision, or the maximum number of digits, of the OLE DB data type for the measure. If the measure does not have a numeric data type, this property returns a value of 0. Otherwise, the value of this property represents the maximum numeric precision for the specified data type as supported by the underlying data source.

For more information about numeric precision in OLE DB, see Chapter 13, "Data Types in OLE DB" in the OLE DB documentation.

The value of this property is identical to the value of the NUMERIC_PRECISION column of the MEASURES schema rowset for the specified measure.
