CheckCatalogWithResult Method

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The method CheckCatalogWithResult tests the integrity of the catalog of the referenced database.

Returns

A QueryResults object that contains detailed status and error information in tabular format

Remarks

CheckCatalogWithResult is implemented using the Transact-SQL DBCC CHECKCATALOG WITH TABLERESULTS statement, and differs from the CheckCatalogmethod in that results are returned in tabular format.

It is recommended that you use the properties and methods of the QueryResults object to retrieve information from the result set.

Note

If an application calls CheckCatalogWithResulton an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000" are returned.
