HierarchyMembersGetCriteria.ParentMember Property

Gets or sets the member code for which the children are being retrieved.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A string that represents the member code.

Remarks

The ParentMember is not required.

If ParentMember is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) and RowLimit is specified, the nth children of Root is retrieved.

If ParentMember is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) and RowLimit is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), then the entire hierarchy is retrieved.

If this is the reserved word of MDMUNUSED, then the members in the non-mandatory hierarchy are retrieved.
