Move SSIS Toolbox Items

The new SSIS Toolbox includes new categories and the ability to organize items according to your preferences. An information window at the bottom of the toolbox provides a description of a selected toolbox item and a link to a Books Online topic.

To move an item to another category

  • Right-click an item in the SSIS Toolbox, and then click one of the following:

    • Move to Favorites

    • Move to Common

    • Move to Other Sources

    • Move to Other Destinations

    • Move to Other Transforms

    • Move to Other Tasks

To refresh the SSIS Toolbox

  • Right-click in the SSIS Toolbox, and then click Refresh Toolbox.
