JobStep.OSRunPriority Property

Gets or sets the execution thread scheduling for job steps executing operating system tasks.

Property Value

An OSRunPriority value that specifies the priority given to job steps executing operating system tasks.

Remarks

Set the OSRunPriority property to modify execution thread scheduling for job steps executing operating system commands. The property specifies a thread priority relative to that granted to an instance of Microsoft SQL Server.

Caution   Setting operating system thread priority can have adverse effects on other processes running on the server. Care should be taken when specifying priorities greater than normal.
