ISWDistClientSettings::UserPreemptionTimeout Property

ISWDistClientSettings::UserPreemptionTimeout is a read-only property, in Configuration Manager, that indicates the agent's current user pre-emption timeout.

HRESULT UserPreemptionTimeout([out, retval] long* pVal);

Parameters

  • pVal
    Data type: long

    Qualifiers: [out, retval]

    Pointer to the user pre-emption timeout, in seconds.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.

Remarks

The user pre-emption timeout is the amount of time the Software Distribution Agent waits for a user's input before timing out and continuing with any assigned programs.
