InventoryActionLastUpdateTime is the timestamp that the management point hardware inventory endpoint uses, in Configuration Manager, to verify whether the clients are sending current inventory. The client receives this timestamp as part of its most recent Hardware Inventory policy. If the XML report contains a newer timestamp than the policy, then the management point will reload its database cache from the site. It can affect performance if third-party reports cause the management point to continuously reload the cache.
