IClientComponent::Version Property

IClientComponent::Version is a read-only property, in Configuration Manager, that defines the Configuration Manager version of the component.

HRESULT Version([out, retval] BSTR* pVal);

Parameters

  • pVal
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [out, retval]

    Pointer to the text version number of the component.

Return Value

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.
