IOperationalDataManagement.GetMonitoringEventReader Method (MonitoringEventCriteria, ManagementPackClass, TraversalDepth)

Retrieves a reader for the monitoring events of the specified class instances that match the specified filter, with the option to include instances of derived classes.

Parameters

• criteria
  A value that specifies the kind of monitoring events.

• managementPackClass
  The monitoring base class, with all its derived classes, that defines the range of the returned results.

• traversalDepth
  A value that modifies the limits of the monitoringClass parameter. A value of OneLevel includes only instances of the specified class in the scope of the returned results. A value of Recursive includes instances of the specified class and all instances that are contained by those instances.

Return Value

Returns a MonitoringEventReader object that matches the specified requirements.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
