ConnectorFrameworkProxy.GetMonitoringAlertsForTiers Method

Gets alerts marked for the monitoring connector from the current Management Group as well as from any additional tiers that are configured for this connector. The failures that occurred for the configured tiers are returned along with the alerts.

Parameters

  • connectorId
    The globally unique identifier (GUID) for the monitoring connector to get alerts for.
  • failures
    The array of failures that may have occurred for various tiered monitoring groups.

Return Value

Returns an Array ConnectorMonitoringAlert of objects that contain the alerts for the specified monitoring connector.

Remarks

To get a ConnectorMonitoringAlert array collection through a MonitoringConnector:

  • The monitoring connector must be set up.

  • The monitoring connector must be initialized.

  • Alerts must be present.

  • Alerts must be marked for the monitoring connector.

This method gets all alerts assigned to a specific monitoring connector for each configured management tier.

This method gets alerts only from the bookmark date to the current time less 30 seconds.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
