Namespace: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ConnectorFramework
Assembly: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager (in Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager.dll)
Usage
'Usage
Dim instance As ConnectorFrameworkProxy
Dim connectorId As Guid
Dim utcBookmarkTime As DateTime
instance.InitializeWithBookmark(connectorId, utcBookmarkTime)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Sub InitializeWithBookmark ( _
connectorId As Guid, _
utcBookmarkTime As DateTime _
)
public void InitializeWithBookmark (
Guid connectorId,
DateTime utcBookmarkTime
)
public:
void InitializeWithBookmark (
Guid connectorId,
DateTime utcBookmarkTime
)
public void InitializeWithBookmark (
Guid connectorId,
DateTime utcBookmarkTime
)
public function InitializeWithBookmark (
connectorId : Guid,
utcBookmarkTime : DateTime
)
Parameters
- connectorId
The globally unique identifier (GUID) for the monitoring connector to initialize.
- utcBookmarkTime
A timestamp bookmark. The monitoring connector's bookmark will be set to this bookmark time.
Remarks
The MonitoringConnector must be set up and initialized before any alerts can be retrieved. This method initializes the monitoring connector for subsequent calls with the specified bookmark.
All alerts with a timestamp earlier than the utcBookmarkTime will be ignored.
Attempting to initialize a monitoring connector that is already initialized results in an exception with the "The connector is already in the given state." warning. It is advisable to perform a check of the Initialized property to determine if the monitoring connector is already initialized before attempting to initialize the monitoring connector.
