Get Network Adapter

The Get Network Adapter activity is used to retrieve an existing Virtual Network Adapter based on the filters you specify.
For the procedure to configure this activity, see Configuring the Get Network Adapter Activity.
The following tables list the properties and published data for this activity. The activity publishes all of the data from the required and optional properties into published data.

Configuring the Get Network Adapter Activity
To configure the Get Network Adapter activity
From the Activities window, drag a Get Network Adapter activity to the active runbook window. Double-click the Get Network Adapter activity icon.
Click the Filters tab.
In the Configuration section, click the ellipsis button (...), and select the Name of the Virtual Machine Manager computer that you want to connect to with this activity. Click OK.
In the Filters section, at least one filter is required to define the activity. Click Add. In the Name box, click the down arrow and select an item from the list.
In the Relation box, click the down arrow and select a relationship descriptor for the filter.
In the Value box, click the ellipsis button (...) and select a value to be applied to this filter. If the ellipsis button (...) does not appear for the filter you have selected, enter the value you want to use. Click OK.
Add additional filters as needed, and then click Finish.
To make changes to a filter, click the filter and then click Edit. Make the necessary changes, and then click OK. To remove a filter, click the filter, and then click Remove.
