System Requirements: Virtual Machine Hosts in System Center 2012 and in System Center 2012 SP1

Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) supports the following hypervisors as virtual machine hosts:

  • Microsoft Hyper-V

  • VMware ESX

  • Citrix XenServer

VMM does not support Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 as a virtual machine host.
