Buttons Tab, Command Group Builder

The Buttons tab in the Command Group Builder specifies the number of buttons and their captions and graphics. This builder also has a Layout tab.

When you choose OK, the builder closes, applying the property settings from every tab.

  • Number of Buttons
    Specifies the number of buttons the command group will have. This option corresponds to the ButtonCount property. Range is from 0 to 100.

  • Caption Column
    Specifies the caption to go on the button. Type the caption in the grid cell. This option corresponds to the Caption property.

  • Graphic Column
    Specifies the path and file name of the bitmap to display on the button. Type the path and file name in the box, or click the dialog button to display the Open dialog box so you can select a file. This picture will be displayed on the command button all the time, regardless of the button's state. This option corresponds to the Picture property.

    Buttons automatically resize to accommodate new captions and pictures. The group container also automatically resizes, and neighboring buttons are repositioned, if necessary, to preserve desired spacing.
