Remarks
The ProvideGlobalObjectProviderAttribute is placed on a package class to declare that it contains one or more classes derived from GlobalObjectProvider. This attribute is only used for registration purposes and does not affect how code behaves when it is executed.
The managed VSPackage registration tool (RegPkg.exe) (see VSPackage Registration) uses this attribute to add registration information about the global object provider so that it is available to design-time tools. You can create the same entries programmatically by calling the Register method.
Thread Safety
Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
