Parameters

  • action
    Type: 'T -> unit

    The function to apply.

  • array
    Type: 'T []

    The input array.

Remarks

This function is named Iterate in compiled assemblies. If you are accessing the function from a language other than F#, or through reflection, use this name.

The following code demonstrates the use of Array.iter.

printf "Array.iter: "
Array.iter (fun (a,b) -> printf "(%d, %d) " a b) [| for i in 1..5 -> (i, i*i) |]
