TeamFoundationLocationService.FindServiceDefinition Method (TeamFoundationRequestContext, String, String)

Finds the service definition with the provided service type and tool id. In order for this call to succeed, only one service that has the provided service type and tool id can exist.

Parameters

• requestContext
  Type: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.TeamFoundationRequestContext

  The request context this call is associated with.

• serviceType
  Type: System.String

  The service type being requested.

• toolId
  Type: System.String

  The tool id for the service. If this is the empty string, all toolIds will be searched.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.ServiceDefinition
The definition for the service.
